He clenched and unclenched his fists. Mike's job was to protect -to be the heart- and if something happened to one of his friends. Oh he couldn't imagine.

He turned to where Owen’s sat on the couch holding a baby. He looked up at Mike and said (in a way too calm voice given the situation) “I need to call on you for a favor.”
