Summary
“How about us?” There it is.
“Huh?”
“What were we like?”
Nya blinks. “Us?” A shaky breath. Because how do you explain to someone who doesn't remember you that they were your entire world?
“We were… everything.”
And even everything doesn’t feel like enough. Doesn’t do them justice. For Nya Smith and Jay Walker there simply were no words to describe them. Extraordinary, otherworldly, remarkable, they all fall short.
They were like a thunderstorm. Beautiful and chaotic and deadly.
“Everything,” Jay repeats. It’s not questioning, but reverent.
“Yeah,” Nya breathes, “everything.”

Summary
It had always been Jay and Nya. They were always together even when she was convinced that she did not want to date him. Having to live without him seemed impossible and so she was going to do something about it, even if that meant staying by his side until he remembered. But could he ever remember or would they have to start over as mere acquaintances?

Summary
What if Jay developed asthma after having seawater in his lungs for so long?
After the end of seabound, Jay is dealing with a trifecta of issues; grief from losing Nya, PTSD from almost drowning, and a new medical diagnosis which he is doing his best to ignore. It doesn’t help that his asthma episodes and emotional spiraling form a feedback loop, making everything worse. His friends are all dealing with their own issues, but at some point Jay needs to admit, he just can’t do this alone. This was supposed to be a “5 times Jay hid an asthma attack and one time he couldn’t” type format, but I got a bit carried away and now it is a stupidly long deep dive filling the gap between Seabound and Crystalised. Mostly canon compliant, with Jay being the main exemption. Given that at the start of Crystalised the team is still fractured and miserable, the ending doesn't resolve everything, but it is still somewhat positive. Lots of angst, comfort, and Jay gasping for air.
