“Love, your secret admirer…” Mike trails off as he finishes reading the letter clutched tightly in his hands.
“Woah, love?” Dustin comments, leaning over. “This person must have it bad for you, Mike.”
“Yeah,” Max snorts, “which is insane because who’s crazy enough to be in love with Mike?”
Mike moves to swat her on the shoulder, but Will beats him to it.
Mike Wheeler’s disdain for Valentine’s day is only intensified when the party is sent on a wild goose chase to find the identity of his unexpected secret admirer with just a week before the day.
On an unrelated note, Will’s acting extra friendly lately. If Mike didn’t know better, he’d think he’s been flirting with him.

Summary
Will sucked in a breath. “I know… we got attacked by a bunch of demos and bats. I was really overwhelmed, and I kept seeing through the monsters’ eyes—it was awful. My head hurt so bad, and then I got grabbed, I think, and… that’s all I really remember. Until waking up here.”
Mike swallowed hard, looking down at the white tile. He wasn’t sure if it was a good or bad thing that Will didn’t recall anything after passing out.
“Do you remember Mike saving you?” Max inquired, a faint grin reaching her lips. Mike blinked, turned to Max, then risked a glance at Will.
The boy was smiling faintly at Max, a blank look on his face. “Mike? Who—Who is that?”
OR
When Will gets injured during the final battle and ends up losing some of his memory, Mike struggles to come to terms with the fact that his best friend forgot him. In an attempt to recover Will's lost memories, Mike tries to remind him of their adventures together, and accidentally-on-purpose tells Will that they're secret boyfriends. Once Will's memories return, he decides not to say anything, just to see how far Mike is willing to take the charade.

Love this!!! I suggested that Jane and Mike talk together about how Will doesn’t remember them and when it actually made it in the fic I was overjoyed oh my gosh! As I’m writing this note, only 3 chapters have come out so I might update it when more come out!!

“Uh-huh,” Mike says faintly, and he yelps when they narrowly avoid the edge of a shining skyscraper, and his hands clutch onto Spiderman instinctively. “Oh – my fucking God, that –”
Spiderman’s fingers press a little firmly into Mike’s shirt. "Just – hang on!"
"What do you mean just hang – was that a pun," Mike sputters, clutching onto Spiderman for dear life as they swing through the city, and he can hear the superhero laugh through the racing wind in his ears, the rumble of it under Mike’s arm wrapped around his middle.
In a city of superheroes, Mike keeps running into Spiderman, much to his dismay.
