“Look,” Michelle begins, kneeling beside him again, “I— Mike, I don’t know what I’m doing here,” she stutters, gesturing to his wrist. Michael doesn’t know, neither, but in face of hers, he doesn’t admit it. Instead, he nods firmly.
“You… n—need to press. Hard.” At least, that’s what he thinks. And ice. “And ice,” he adds on. They don’t have ice. Michelle glances up at him, her eyes flickering over the state of his bloodied and bruised face, and breathes. Slowly, she unravels the bandage around his wrist, keeping unsteady pressure around the bone.
He chokes, and cries, but insists she keeps going. Her hands shake, and tears drop down onto the gauze.
“God, Boos, what did you do to make him so mad?”
That’s the crux of it. He doesn’t know. He shrugs the best he can, “wh— what don’t I do?”OR: Young Booster Gold dealing with the consequences of his father's abuse and his mother's sickness.

On the morning that he found out he was in love, Kakashi woke up to the sunshine pouring in through his window, ambled into the bathroom, and hacked up a single red chrysanthemum into the sink. He stared at it for a long time. He knew what it meant, obviously. There was only one reason why a man who hadn’t previously eaten a floral arrangement could be spitting out whole flowers.
After all he's been through, Kakashi certainly isn't going to let a little thing like a chakra disorder kill him. Obviously, he's going to confess his love and get cured. Easy. Now... he just has to figure out who to confess it to.
