“Hey, so do you even know where you’re going?” Shin asks, he’s kicking a rock down the abandoned street to Natsuki’s dismay (“you’re going to attract zombies” “you worry too much”).
“I have an idea at least, unlike you,” Natsuki places his hands in his pockets. It was the middle of the day but there was still a chill in the air. He needed to find Mafuyu, he’s been needing to find him for at least 6 months now. He found Shin during the fifth. They’ve been traveling with each other for 2 months now. That’s kinda weird.
“I have an idea,” Shin bites back. “But I checked that idea and–”
“There was nothing there, you don’t need to tell me twice,” Natsuki shrugs.

Summary
Kazuki was good. He was so good, and he deserved better than Rei. He deserved a real family, and a partner that could give him one. The last thing he needed was a defective omega who couldn’t even manage to sleep in a real bed, let alone ever hope to give him the family he so desperately craved. Kazuki had been so close, once, and Rei wasn’t about to let him throw away his second chance on someone like himself.

Summary
Kazuki Kurusu is an Alpha just trying to recover from the traumas of his past. Rei Suwa is the heir to an organization of assassins who has successfully hidden his Omega nature his whole life. Once they start raising a little girl together things begin to change between them and certain truths come to light.
Follows the plot of the show, just with A/B/O dynamics.

It started when Subaru was telling Beatrice a bedtime story he concocted in the back of his mind. Beatrice though captivated his stories keeps on interrupting him to grill him on the inconsistency. Like why is the colour of the cloak red now when it used to be black. Subaru tired of being corrected had simply elected to write down the story to keep the details consistent. Eh, would probably help in becoming fluent in this world's writing system.
It would have been fine and dandy if Otto didn't barge in clutching his notes, blabbering about how brilliant his stories are and why he should publish them. Subaru had humoured him then not really believing that his book would sell while making fun of Otto's previous record at predicting market values.
Turns out Otto hit the jackpot this time and Subaru's story ended up becoming a hit.
His friends and acquaintances becoming his avid reader much to his embarrassment.
