He looked up at the boy who's face was slightly flushed, his hair was blonde as ever and the sun shining through the windows made it glow like an angels hair. The blonde boy's blush got deeper as he realized they were soulmates.

Kaveh regrets ever accepting this new commission. It is not the pay nor the project itself – both are to the architect’s satisfaction. No, the problem is the client and her obsession with Kaveh.
She believes them to be “destined for each other” and takes Kaveh’s rejection as playing hard to get. In his desperation Kaveh lies about having a boyfriend, a certain scribe he shares a home with and is oh-so madly in love with. Now he has to convince Alhaitham to play the part, when his client insists on meeting the “love of his life”.
