Summary
Viktor is beneath him with that small smile Jayce had noticed the night they met. It’s barely an upward curl of his lips, but it somehow still reaches his eyes, bright with warmth and fondness directed solely at Jayce.
I’m so stupid, Jayce thinks to himself. He can’t understand how he had missed what that smile meant.
Jayce makes a different choice once he learns that Viktor is dying. He chooses Viktor. Everything changes. Arcane Act 2 canon-divergent.

Summary
“What is this experiment testing, exactly?” Viktor asks as he sits down in the chair.
“I can’t tell you, otherwise it’ll affect the way you process it.” Jayce says. If Viktor isn’t mistaken, he seems incredibly nervous.
“Ah, that makes sense.” Viktor nods slowly.
“Just, uh, if it gets too much, or you’re uncomfortable, or even if you just want to get back to work, tell me and we’ll stop. Alright?”
“I trust you, Jayce. It’ll be fun, I’m sure.” Viktor offers him a reassuring smile and then Jayce instructs him to close his eyes.
Viktor isn’t sure what he expected. He knew what he was hoping for, but hopes and expectations are unfortunately two very different things. So when he feels Jayce rest a gentle, gentle hand on his face, he isn’t quite sure what is going to happen. But slowly, another hand rests on his knee and slowly glides up his thigh.
Slowly, surely and softly, Jayce guides his hands up and down Viktor’s body, pausing carefully sometimes to allow Viktor to stop him. Viktor never does, instead deciding to focus on keeping his breathing even so that Jayce doesn’t feel the way his breath hitches as Jayce’s hands explore a new piece of his body.Bookmarked by Chronosynchronicity

Mid-sentence, he realizes while trying to read if Viktor is upset or not that Viktor has been staring intently at his lips the whole time. After a moment of silence, Viktor finally notices that Jayce has stopped speaking and his cheeks flood with red.
Oh.
When Viktor’s eyes flick up to meet his, they look panicked, like he’s been caught.

Summary
Viktor and Jayce are partners at Hextech. One night Jayce accidently stumbles into Viktor's room black out drunk they have sex. Ever since, they develop a relationship that is more than just business partners.
They were lovers, partners. Together they persisted in pursuit of greatness and somewhere along the way their paths diverged. Their partnership fractures, highlighting the cost of progress and the tension between morality and ambition. They flew too close to the sun. And in pursuit of great they forgot to do good.
The world has vowed to make them suffer for testing the limits of the Arcane. Or maybe its them that makes the world suffer.-or-
A novelization of Arcane in JayVik’s POVThis is a fill-in-the-gaps fic where I follow the Arcane canon events but focused on the off-screen and on-screen interactions of Viktor and Jayce. Because we deserved more depth, more context and more JayVik than we got.
Starts off as an imaginative piece then has convergence with the show around Chapter 8!

Summary
Viktor has always been content with his place in the world, overlooked and alone. Now that he has Jayce, he isn't sure how much longer he can stand it. Not when what he wants so desperately, what he knows he can never have, is always right there. Just out of his reach.
Or: Viktor just wants to be touched. Jayce would be more than happy to help if Viktor would tell him that.
