Summary
Although many breakthroughs have been made on account of the rights of hybrids, they are still legally considered to be a sub-human species incapable of independent living. When a hybrid is found to be a victim of abuse or neglect, they become a ward of the state and are sent to long term shelters to stay until they either find a new owner or enter the foster program for hybrids.
This is a collection of drabbles/one-shots based on this premise.

Summary
“Sieun-ah,” Suho’s voice quivered, and Sieun pursed his lips; he couldn’t look up.
“Sieun-ah…” He repeated, voice a little more desperate as he dragged on the last syllable. “Look at me, please.”
He could never deny Suho, and that would kill him one day, he knows it.
So he did, he locked eyes with him for the second time that night, and his heart broke.
Suho was crying, and silent tears rolled down his face. Sieun wanted nothing more than to wipe them away, reassure him everything was fine, but it wasn't, it never will be, because he was broken, and no amount of love can fix that.
Sieun hurt everyone he came in contact with, he made Suho cry, he made him cry, Suho.
He knew if he moved the dam would break, but he needed to comfort Suho, Suho needed help. He hurt him now, he needs to fix it.

The consequences of his parents' neglect are obvious if you look hard enough, and Suho doesn't mind putting in the extra work to make sure Sieun will be okay.
