Summary
Yayoi arrives and demands that Kashiwagi join her for lunch. However, Kashiwagi has forgotten it's Valentine's Day. While it's not a big deal, really, they're both mature adults trying to hide their relationship after all, Kashiwagi still feels bad. When Yayoi cheekily and slyly suggest sthat they spend their afternoon in a hotel, how can Kashiwagi deny her anything?

Summary
She scowls, twisting her elegant features into a snarl befitting of a two-bit chinpira with something to prove, eager to make a name for themselves. It's ugly, rude, improper of a woman of her stature. Yayoi couldn't care less. It's a perfect representation of the anger and frustration she feels. Even now, as the Acting Chairman of the Tojo Clan, she still can't escape the roles she's been dealt. She's tired—tired of playing Sohei's trophy wife, tired of acting the role of a grieving widow, tired of being a damsel in distress—Yayoi's tired of it all.
For just once, she'd like to feel in control of something in her life. Yayoi had foolishly thought that becoming Acting Chairman would grant her that honor, but she's just a placeholder—someone to fill in until a better, more suitable replacement is found. As always.

Summary
Ryoma had a goal when joining the Shinsengumi. He was there for a reason. Not to form friendships and especially not to catch feelings. Then again, how could he have prepared himself for the whirlwind that was Okita Soji? It was an odd thing, this strange connection he felt to Okita. There was an undeniable magnetism between them right from the start.
___
They have such a strong connection from the start, I wanted to explore their relationship with them actually getting together.

Ryoma placed his hands loosely on Okitas forearms and leaned back against his chest. Maybe if he played along he could coax him into dropping the pretext of a fight and just following him into bed.

Summary
"It all started when Basim suddenly received a letter from an unknown source. The curiosity, that ignited in him, made him quickly rip the cover, revealing a small letter, written in English in sprawled handwriting. The assassin, out of habit, expected it to be some kind of spy information or daily reports of his scouts, but the words of love, soaked into the very texture of the thick paper, puzzled the man a lot".

Summary
As he gazed upon Hytham, his face shielded by his hood, he looked so real, so alive, and he wanted nothing more than to throw the hood back, pry every secret from between his lips, the things that made him gasp, twist, pine.
(Or, alternatively, in which Eivor goads Hytham into crawling out of that stifling bureau, just for a little bit).
