Remus’s third year has him dealing with taking all the electives, his friends starting to date, and, in addition to the stress of being a werewolf, he’s also finally realized something about himself that he is slowly trying to accept. Which just brings on a whole new slew of problems.
The world of 4TTE will eventually include Wolfstar. Mostly canon with a few exceptions.

I want to make it clear I do not agree with Rowling's views. I DO NOT AGREE WITH HER or anything she's been saying. While I am writing an HP fanfic, I do NOT promote her work or wish to give her money.
This is a very pro-LGBT+ series, there will be a lot of queer characters once they're older (though we do start getting that in this book!). However, wizarding society in this is very anti-LGBT+. I will keep the hate to a minimum, but it will be a story where the characters are afraid to/cannot come out publicly. But this is a queer story written by a queer author!Series

Summary
Long haul Remus Lupin story, previously titled Shifting Lines. Book One covers his First Year at Hogwarts and all its ups and downs. Making friends, keeping his secret, and trying to cope with being in the real world for the first time in his life.
If you want to read the later books but not this one then I do have a summary of the story up!

Please note there really should be a lot more tags but I dont want there to be a wall so I'm trying to keep it short. I took some of the fluffier tags. I mostly kept in the darker ones as warnings but I promise there is more than angst in this.
Also if the stuttering is annoying, I want to say that changes as Remus grows more comfortable with talking to people and by the second book he doesn't stutter a lot.

Summary
How would the lives of the Marauders have differed if they hadn't grown up at the beginning of the first wizarding war?
What if Voldemort never existed because Tom Riddle got adopted by muggle parents and didn't turn into an evil crazy person?
James, Sirius, Remus and Peter all meet on the train to Hogwarts first year and mischief ensues. There'll be slow burn wolfstar and Jily among other ships, and there'll still be plenty of muggle/pureblood angsty stuff, the Blacks and Malfoys etc. are all still elitist they just don't get their evil overlord so things don't go as far as a full blown war.
Basically I wanted to read a marauders fic where their future suffering and death wasn't hanging over me the whole time so I decided to write one.
On indefinite hiatus.

Summary
Sirius studied Remus’ face. He was curious what he thought of all of this, the only one of them who didn’t have a mark– theoretically– and the only one with a muggle parent. Muggles didn’t get marks, he knew. If Remus’ parents were soulmates, then they wouldn’t know it. He wondered if there was a way to tell, though. If they could just feel it, somehow, even without the help of some magical fate.
Because it seemed like something you would just know, just from being near someone, from being close enough to them, from being in the same space. Like their souls would attract like magnets or like water droplets traveling down a window, waiting to merge until the last moment when they realized they were on the same path, and then they’d become one.
Was that fate, Sirius wondered?
He realized Remus was staring back at him, his eyes puzzled and curious and warm.
Sirius looked away first and didn’t look back, pushing down something heavy and impossible in his chest.
