Summary

But this time, this is not just a fairy tale, Victor Frankenstein is known for being an asshole, who is also a necromancer in a world full of prejudice against them, and worst of all, he is not a hero, and he is not the nice guy of our story. How could this spoilt heart save anyone, even if they deserved any saving?

Summary
Victor thinks he killed his Creature in the fire and regrets it deeply. Months later, when he returns to Victor to demand a companion, their argument causes havoc, and a guest of the wedding shoots the Creature. Victor saves him, taking the bullet instead.
Victor survives, and the Creature and his Maker allow themselves to know each other at last. As their companionship develops, Victor is troubled by a new feeling.
