Summary
Oliver stood rigidly in the doorway, whilst the world careened around him in a bustle of mad activity. It was as though he were watching through a filter, his feet rooted to the floor, unable to move, forced to observe. The world was muffled, the pale green of surgeon’s scrubs seemed muted against the beige walls of the hospital, set in vivid contrast to the lurid red of his sister’s blood as it seeped from her chest.
A spec fic taking place after 1x19, in which Felicity is in the hospital comforting a very distraught and anxious - to say the least - Oliver.

“Does that mean you’ll do it?” His voice was ice, smooth, yet beneath lay an untold danger that sent a shiver down her spine. Felicity grit her teeth, eyeing the man before her in all his looming glory.
“Do I have a choice?” She ground out, and watched his lips twitch upwards, revealing a flash of teeth. It didn’t seem like a smile.
“No.” He replied. Familiar blue eyes bored into her own, unflinching, cold.

Lena lives in a world of bright, indescribable colors. She walks calculated paths among webs of lasers radiating from every person she sees. She avoids large gatherings where the atmosphere becomes a dizzying mess of psychedelic flares and smoke, but she treasures every individual as the sum of their parts: the auras glowing tight around their wrists.
Her mother calls them “soul bonds,” a magical manifestation of the connection between souls that only their bloodline can see. Lena calls them “ribbons.”

Summary

Summary
Alex sees her, the dark haired woman with the love affair. She watches the dramatics of each goodbye, the intimacy of each greeting. She almost wishes she hadn’t discovered it at all.
Though the actions are entirely one-sided it feels mutual. It’s as though the Girl is contributing to the relationship. The steely demeanor of her eyes, the stiffness of her limbs, it all seems to crumble in the presence of the mysterious woman. The woman with the sad eyes and hopeful air.
Alex can see the loneliness around her, yet she watches as it dissipates once the Girl of Steel is within reach.

Summary
Kara supposes that like most superheroes, even villains have their own (not so) secret identities to retreat to during the day. As disturbing as that thought is.
Though, in knowing that however, certainly does not prepare her with the mental fortitude for running into any of them out of working – or should she say, hero – hours.
In the midst of reining in her surprise, Kara inwardly wonders if there’s a standard proper protocol somewhere for running into the little sister of her cousin’s greatest nemesis at some run-of-the-mill supermarket in town.
Or.
Even in a universe where Lex Luthor runs rampant and free, and Lena inevitably sides with her family, Kara has never once stopped believing that she is nothing but good.
