Hearing a noise coming from the back of the house, Eddie sat up suddenly, his eyes darting to the hallway, breath bated, waiting. He didn’t think he took another breath until he heard the bathroom door slam shut.
“He’s just going to the bathroom, Eds, relax.” Buck tried to soothe, but Eddie was still staring in the same direction, knowing he couldn’t go back to the same position until he knew his son was safely back in bed. “You know we need to tell him at some point. We can’t keep going on like this.” Buck sighed.
OR
Eddie wants Buck, but is too scared to come out. Buck wants to tell the world he loves Eddie. They can't do both...

Summary
Price is a marine biologist at the 141 marine rescue centre of Plymouth, here one day, a mer from Scotland is rescued and on the long run it creates a friendship with Ghost, a mer that decided to live in captivity and that covers his face with a mask made out of shells. Ghost is extremly unconfortable with his scars, thiking that Soap will hate and avoid him like any other mer in his old pod, but soap instead looks curious and doesn't care about the scars.
OR
Ghost and soap are mers but come from different tribes so they have different courting styles.

In all fairness, Buck didn’t exactly expect him to pull the trigger. When the shot rang out, surprise hit him harder than the actual bullet.
Time didn’t still. Worlds didn’t crumble. He didn’t see his life flash before his eyes.
The film directors had clearly never been shot before.
