    “It’s rare for an omega to go through a second bonding unless their first mate has passed on,” Copley comments, his tone serious. “A second incomplete bonding is practically unheard of.     Nicky is a 30-year-old omega who teaches at the prestigious Scythian Academy. Joe is a 17-year-old alpha student who goes into his first rut during one of Nicky’s classes. On their way to the medical bay, Joe pins Nicky against a wall and bites on his scent gland, bonding them together.
