Ochako walked down the aisle with slow steps, trying to balance on her shoes. Katsuki saw her break them in the past weeks, taking them wherever she went. She never learned to walk in them properly because after an hour max, her feet had been pink and hurting and Katsuki switched his sneakers or boots with her. He might have broken them in more than her, earning dubious looks in public, but he would do it all again to make her feel better. If this was his wedding, he thought, she'd be barefoot. There wouldn't be as many people, there would be no press in the back, no big bravo. And that dress — it would be for him. If only he was the groom instead of her best man.

The user activates the quirk by touching, skin to skin, the anchor - the first person the anchor makes eye contact with after Folie À Deux is activated becomes the ‘tether’. After becoming tethered, the duo must remain within a ten foot radius of one another. Every five feet beyond the initial ten feet will cause increasing pain and insanity until the pain becomes ‘Unbearable’. The more time spent in an ‘Unbearable’ status increases the chance for lasting psychological damage.
