“Are you sure this is a good idea?” Ned asked, nervously twisting his fingers as their taxi drove away. “What if Mr. Stark finds out?”
Peter turned his gaze from the large house ahead of them to his friend. “He’s not going to find out,” Peter said, more confidently than he felt. If he was being honest, it was a huge concern of his, too. Tony wasn’t exactly shy with his constant spying – or safety precautions, as he would say – but he’d done all he could: left his phone in Ned’s bedroom, paid for the taxi in cash, and told Ned’s mom that they were going to go back to the tower for the night.

Adopted by Tony after the death of Aunt May, Peter gets himself in trouble for the first time by sneaking out to a party. Tony remembers how Howard would have handled it, and is determined to do things differently.
