Enid’s heart faltered as she got a good look at her.
Wednesday’s braids were a mess, flyaways sticking out all over and clinging to her face. Her… sweaty face. The normally pale complexion was tinged with pink from what could only have been some kind of physical activity.
Enid couldn’t help where her mind went.

Enid can’t figure out why Wednesday is spending so much time with Bianca. Not that it bothers her. At all. She only wants to stick her claws in the siren’s throat and watch the life drain from her eyes. (Oops, maybe she is jealous.)

Enid wasn't expecting to go to the Raven this year. She had politely declined invitations (even a friend-vitation from Yoko) for months from anyone remotely interested simply because she wanted the quiet night in. She didn't get those often anymore between her work-study program and her long-time, miserable (in a good way!), likes-to-put-her-nose-in-places-she-shouldn't, roommate. And then, Wednesday asked her. Did you really think she'd say no to Wednesday Addams? Fuck no. But there's a bit more to this story than meets the eye, from both a Raven Heart, and a werewolf that Doesn't Know How To Dance.

Werewolves were territorial by nature and she could feel that urge now, the intense jealousy burning through her chest and urging her to rip the head off of any other suitor of Wednesday’s, telling her to kill kill kill-
“I don’t think so. Xavier and I are good partners, yes, but we are also extremely similar in nature. If the stalker is to believe I’ve had a sudden personality shift, you are a much more believable option. Not to mention the social capital you already wield would be more than enough to bolster the investigation. Plus you are...my best friend. I have never had one of those before, so it is not unbelievable that we could end up together.”
Enid swallowed thickly. With her feelings for her roommate, this was probably a bad idea. She should definitely say no.
