Kiryu had a better idea. “Or I could suck your dick.”
The tanto faltered in Majima's grip. Kiryu could practically see the gears turn in his head, weighting his new options. They weighed very heavily in one direction.
“Damn it Kiryu-chan,” Majima scowled as he sheathed his blade. “You can’t keep getting away with this!”

Majima was not making Kiryu’s life easier in any respect. While Kiryu took up his new post with deadly seriousness, which was the only way he knew how to approach things, Majima acted like he didn’t notice the shift of power between them, and kept misbehaving like a little kid. He was still on what seemed to be a never-ending quest to rile Kiryu up every chance he got. Because he couldn’t follow Kiryu around Kamurocho anymore, he instead popped out from around every corner Kiryu turned at the clan’s headquarters. He was always ready to offer a provocative look or an ambiguous comment that made Kiryu want to put his fist right through Majima’s face and then kiss him until he stopped running that stupid mouth of his. Somehow, Majima still was everywhere.

“Didn't know ya had it in ya, Kiryu-chan," she said after a moment of silence, her voice slipping into Majima’s lower tones.
“Erm.” Kiryu tried to respond and failed, his brain overloaded from trying to process what he had just done and with whom. "I... what are you... I mean...”
“Hey,” she stopped his meagre attempts at coherent speech, placing a pink-nailed fingertip to his mouth. “That after-hours date I asked ya about. Sure ya don’t wanna come?”

Summary
Asking Kiryu on a date is supposed to be a joke. It’s just another in Majima’s long list of contrived reasons for Kiryu to get mad enough at him to fight him.
So he’s thrown for a loop when Kiryu doesn’t answer him by punching him in face, but by accepting.
Obviously Kiryu’s playing along, just like he did with the bartender scheme, and with Goromi, and everything else. Majima can work with that. There’s no way he’ll crack before Kiryu does.
Or: Majima commits to the bit so hard he ends up in a long-term relationship.

Something like deja vu hits Majima, and You’ve always been the one guy I could never read rattles around his empty brain for a moment like a lone mint in a metal tin. Majima shakes his head, and the sentence comes out of his ear and dissipates into the air. It’s the same voice that says Majima-no-nii-san? in that stoic but respectful tone.
Nah, couldn’t be.
