Summary
After an unsuccessful attempt to kill Eren before he could get into contact with Zeke, the Rumbling begins and the Wall Titans are freed, Eren’s ominous Founding form towering amongst them.
He wipes out 80% of the population before he is eventually killed by those he calls friends, a sacrifice he had to make for their freedom in the hope that the Curse of Ymir will end with him.
However, he discovers that in the end, his sacrifice was for null, the curse remains and his genocide rendered pointless, and that some problems have to be dug up by the roots.
*Well hey, note from the author here. This is my first fan fiction, and I got inspired to make it after looking at AOT’s ending and feeling pretty inspired to continue it on. Just so it is clear, this will take place after the Rumbling and Eren’s death. Anyways, enjoy and I hope my work is good enough!*
