"I could've ended up like Sarina, but I was lucky--my DNA re-sequencing didn't have any unintended side effects."
But what if it did?
Inspired by a viewing of season 7 episode 5, "Chrysalis", and the classic science fiction story Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes.
There's gorgeous comic-style fanart of this story here, done by lemonsweetie. Ye gods, incredible!

Summary
Julian Bashir is a genetically enhanced individual. How do we know this? Well, he's a brilliant doctor, and...he's great at darts...and can calculate time with accuracy...and...well, that about sums it up.
Each chapter will offer another piece of evidence on how Julian is augmented. I wanted so much more from the show in this regard, and the potential was just so palpable and they let it slip through their fingers! This is my way of exploring an extraordinary story line that wasn't given nearly enough attention.
