A few minutes later, they were walking to the local dollar store while Miss explained the concept of pools and pool floats to DeVoid, and she didn’t even mind that she was wearing her ugly Burger Bin shirt. It was turning out to be a perfect encounter anyway.
And the pool noodles looked ridiculous, but they worked. Lady DeVoid was starting to think that there wasn't any problem on this stupid planet that Miss didn't have an answer for.
Lady DeVoid hates Earth, hates it so much, except for one green haired, surprisingly competent teacher on it.

Taking place between book 5.5-6, the squad come together and talk about what really happened when June was on her 'solo' mission, and how they handled it.
"What were you guys doing when you were trying to track me?" June asks in the middle of lunch, and we all pause.
"What do you uh- What do you mean?" Dirk clears his throat. "You want us to say that we all held hands and skipped to ya?"
Quint and I snort, laughing when June frowns in response. "No, you said Jack was freaking out–" "HEY‐!" "And as true as that might be, what else were you like..Freaking out about?"
