"You know what sucks more than anything? The apocalypse? Sure. Having no electricity or running water during said apocalypse? Yep, that sucks too. But probably one of the worst experiences in the entire world is being on your period during that apocalypse.
Dealing with it is hard enough with all the modern amenities, but the cramps, mood swings, nausea, pain, and general not good vibes that accompany a period seem to be amplified by the general not good vibes that the end of the modern world brings."
June deals with her period during the apocalypse, and has to confide in her friends when it gets to be too much to handle by herself.
