They don’t know Jimin’s birthday. Jeongguk had asked, shortly after he’d moved into their apartment permanently, wearing their mark proudly. But Jimin had shrugged, saying he has no idea and that sort of thing has no purpose or meaning in the demonic realm.
So Jeongguk had picked one for him. He thought long and hard about what seemed fitting and ultimately decided on October 13th, for a number of reasons. First, it was close to Halloween, which just makes sense in Jeongguk’s opinion. Second, it makes him a Libra, which is just so… fitting. And lastly -- this year, October 13th falls on a Friday, which makes it Friday the 13th, and really, Jeongguk just couldn’t help himself.

He kind of feels like a child who’s been caught stealing cookies before dinner time, being interrogated, or told off, what with the way he’s sitting and they aren’t, and how he just knows they are going to pry until they find out why exactly he would be offering such a thing. They can ask all they want though, there’s no way in hell he’d ever tell them, not at all, not even a little bit...
“Oh god, you have a crush on her teacher don’t you?”
His face contorts. He forgot how well they know him.
Shit.
Deny, deny, deny.
“What? How could you? Pfft? Of course I don't? What even? Are you? Pfft....” his eyes shake and he sighs and Jin is already laughing his loud bellowing laugh whilst Yoongi is just staring at him, the sides of his lips turned up and his eyes all knowing.
Eventually, he shakes his head. “Park Jimin. We should have seen this coming.”
