Summary
[Guess what, apparently if you stay up for 40hours, live off of takeout and grocery store cookies, and mix inadvisable amounts of caffeine, Adderall, and nicotine for months on end-
Riku wakes up to his alarm clock going off.
Only, his name isn’t fucking Riku, he doesn’t own an alarm clock like some geriatric traditionalist, and he is very, very fucking confused.]
Or: SI/OC isekais into the Narutoverse as a 10 year old orphan with no knowledge of canon, a half finished degree in psychology, and a very valid fear of dying considering his current career track.
Edit: I had to turn on moderation due to the volume of spam comments, sorry for the hassle and I hope that doesn't discourage anyone from commenting, I truly love reading them and they make my day! <33

Summary
In another life, Orochimaru never leaves Konoha, opting to remain within the village that equally reveres and reviles him. Fighting a bitter battle against forces within the village that are more influential and well-positioned, he finds himself gifted with one last shining opportunity: three children, a team of genin, handed to him because Konoha has no better choice. Orochimaru agrees to become a jounin-sensei for the first and the last time, taking on the next generation's Team Seven: Uchiha Sasuke, Nara Shikamaru, and Uzumaki Naruto.
[ A gradual exploration of the author's very liberal Naruto headcanon, with a good!Orochimaru (well, sorta good) who eventually becomes the Godaime Hokage. Lots of chakra theory, cool jutsu, in-depth backstories, character development, political intrigue, and den mother Orochimaru feels! Also featuring: BAMF baby Team 7! Be prepared to suspend your disbelief; this will be another one of my long-running intense worldbuilding AUs. Let's go have fun! ]

The Leaf is corrupt, Team Seven is disillusioned and Kakashi suddenly has to figure out how to keep three overpowered Genin safe on the run when the whole world wants to take a bite out of them.A couple of steps to the side may take the path an entirely new direction, a few words chosen differently and the story may have an entirely new ending, and a small band of underestimated and untethered ninja who choose each other above anything else may shift the whole world on its axis.
