"Unless it is?" She must have some kind of short circuit in her brain. Because she hears his words. They reach her ear. And are sent on from there to her brain. In a fraction of a hundredth. But something must be going wrong with the processing. "Unless it is?" That would mean ... no he couldn't have said that. "Unless it is?" That look. Those steel blue eyes. The question she sees in them. Has he blinked at all in the last few seconds? Lucy say something. And she tries to think. But she can't think. Because her brain has a lapse. Not one of those blackouts you might have in an exam. "Unless it is?" No, it's not a blackout. Say something, Lucy. But she can't say anything. Because her brain has obviously switched to stand-by mode. Because it would mean ... no it can't be. "Unless it is?"

A story about Lucy and Tim's secret dating era. The entire story includes what we see in the series and what happens in between. The evolution of feelings from that nervous question about a first date to the mutual trust that we see just a few episodes later. From nobody knows anything until suddenly everyone knows Chenford is a thing.

Tim stares harder, but Thorsen either doesn't get the hint or just doesn't care and keeps going.
"This is surprising. Well, not entirely surprising... well, yes... or maybe not... well, the timing is surprising. Honestly, I would have thought if she decided to transfer, she would have done it some time ago."
Tim has to muster all his self-control not to stop and strangle Aaron. Okay, that's extreme, but if it would shut him up, Tim's willing to consider it. Because Aaron just blurted out what everyone is thinking and what Tim dreads the most: Lucy is transferring to North Hollywood because of HIM.

With the exposure of extensive blackmailing within the LAPD, Lucy is dispatched undercover to North Hollywood to conduct further investigations. Meanwhile, Tim returns to his roots as a TO and takes on a new rookie. Can Tim fix what he has ruined? Is there a future for both of them beyond small doses? You’ll find out.

"I called this in so backup should be here soon. You alright?" She asks him, concern flickering in her eyes as she takes in the wound on his wrist. Tim simply nods in reply, too winded to respond verbally. Blood is trickling down onto the concrete floor in steady drips now and he sways on his feet, feeling suddenly dizzy. He looks down at his uniform which is splattered with crimson flecks, a stark contrast to the blue fabric. Great, he’s probably going to have to order a new uniform now. With a grimace, he wipes at it with his uninjured hand, trying to remove as much of it as he can.
“I’m fine.” The adrenaline is wearing off now and every bruised muscle screams its protest as he moves — she doesn’t need to know that though. He groans inwardly; this will be hell tomorrow.
"Tough guy." Angela rolls her eyes, but there's a hint of amusement in her voice. With a sigh, she pulls out a small first aid kit — always prepared — and reaches for his bleeding wrist. "Hold still."
