Summary
Sorry about the cornball title. If I think of a better one, I'll change it.
You're not fond of people. You know the statistics and see the evidence of evil all around you in the world. So you move to the woods, where you've always felt the most at peace. It's perfect: a quaint little cabin just a short hike away from Crystal Lake, but far enough from the notorious campground that you shouldn’t be disturbed by whoever disregarded the local legends to party it up on the shores of that lake.
You have heard those legends yourself: a killer stalks these woods. The vengeful soul of a boy who had drowned and then came back as a man, or rather as an unstoppable force that kills all who dare step foot in his territory. Jason Voorhees, they call him, and he kills to avenge his Mother and the child that he’d been, choking and struggling at the bottom of that lake while the camp counselors in charge of his safety looked the other way.
But urban legends aren’t enough to dissuade you from your chosen new residence. Alone at last, you think to yourself... but you are wrong about that. You’ll find out just how wrong very soon. -

Or
In which a xenomorph recognizes you from its past and believes you to be its mate. Who are you to refuse getting stuffed full of eggs? All in the name of science, of course.

Summary
“Hello,” he whispered softly.
You jumped and stepped back onto the stairs. “Who's there!” you shouted. “I have pepper spray! And my boyfriend is JUST upstairs, so you'd better.. you'd better just tell me who you are!”
He laughed just as softly as he had whispered, but there felt something sinister in it. “Your mate is dead,” he explained.
Your mouth floundered open. After hesitation, you stepped further up the stairs, but refused to turn your back on the unseen man. “Wh-what? How do you know,” your voice shook.
“Because I ate him for you,”

Summary
You were happy and in love. You married young, soon after graduating high school, despite your parents' disapproval. You loved your husband, Sans, and he loved you. He made good money, and you took care of the house. You were a mage and he was a monster, yet everything fell into place without any effort.
Sure, you were awkward and unemotive, but Sans loved you anyway. Your strong SOUL and heavy magic were concerning to some monsters, but Sans loved you anyway. You were young and naive when you got married.
You had little experience with the real world, but you weren't stupid. You saw the signs and counted the days before your husband confirmed the one thing you'd been so afraid of. You never thought you'd hear it come from your lovely husband's mouth.
“She’s pregnant. With my baby,” -

Summary
“Another guest, hm?”
The voice was unnaturally soothing to your ears. Had you heard it in another situation you would have unashamedly closed your eyes and let it echo around your mind. However, in this case its only effect was to put you on guard.
“What are you?” You forced the words out of your throat. Mind still trying to grasp what on earth you were seeing.
