Kazutora had seen many strange things over his lifetime. Coming into Chifuyu’s small back office at Peke J’s World to find a small child curled up in the cat basket on Chifuyu’s desk was not something he could have ever imagined, even in his wildest dreams.
The kid certainly wasn’t Chifuyu’s biological child nor anyone else's in Toman that Kazutora could think of.

He saw the knife in Kazutora’s hand and immediately knew that it was intended for Baji. He did the only thing he could think of, he jumped in front of the knife.
