Bucky Barnes didn’t expect Thursday to begin with a pretty astrophysicist named Dr. Darcy Lewis demanding he meet her in a DC coffee shop to discuss a possible alien invasion. Darcy Lewis didn’t expect Bucky Barnes to listen to her paranoid worries, but a week later—when she's attacked for digging into the mystery and calls Bucky for a rescue—he assigns himself as her bodyguard and pulls in the other New Avengers to help untangle the nefarious plans of a sinister company. And he does it all while he also tries to work through his intimacy issues so he can have what he really wants: Darcy. (Special note: The non-con warning is for Bucky's past with HYDRA. Coruscant is cold.
Not its air. Its soul.
The city is large in a way that defies Bix’s imagination. It’s all straight, sharp lines that do not belong in nature. It stretches endlessly in every direction, and in every direction, it is the same. Artificial. Lifeless.
Three trillion people live in the ecumenopolis. Ferrix was a speck compared to it, but it was bustling with life, even under the Imperial boot. There were voices in the street and in the wind. The walls held the warmth of the sun after it had set.
Stone and sky do not exist here.
This place is so cold Bix feels it in her teeth.

Summary
Rey’s interrogation at the hands of Kylo Ren triggered an awakening in the Force, as well as an unwelcome bond that links them across the galaxy and grows stronger every day. An accidental encounter alerts Supreme Leader Snoke to the existence of this bond and he orders his apprentice to capture the girl and bring her to him. Sometimes it's not the big speeches that redeem people, but the actions you inspire them towards. Former PWP, now full scale adventure.

Summary
Driven from the Resistance and her friends by her Force bond with the enemy, Rey strives to live a peaceful life far away from the galactic war that rages on without her. Although Kylo Ren does everything in his power to shield her from harm, he soon learns he cannot do so from afar. But when a threat to her life brings him to her side, his deepest desires and fears are both realized and a foe long thought defeated rises again.
This is a concise, focused story with a complete arc designed to be read in only a few sittings. You can think of it as my vision for just the Rey/Ben scenes for the Episode IX film. Note: this is entirely independent from my other Reylo, "Betrayal." Questions and comments are always welcome!!! Excerpt:
The look Kylo gave her, permeated with intense longing and regret, both moved and exasperated her.
“Oh, cut it out,” Rey hissed, annoyed by his tiresome displays of conflicted emotions.
“You know what I want.”
“Yes,” she declared. “You’ve made it abundantly clear. What matters to you is power, order, control. Well, you will never have power, order, or control over me.”
