The dateviators on her face seemed to click and whirl as she looked around the room, more so a deep, endless abyss that went on for as far as she could see. Which, to be fair, wasn’t very far. It seemingly grew darker nonetheless, the ‘shadow realm’ that she’d become accustomed to over the past few visits was much lonelier and a great deal emptier without his presence. Their ‘meeting of the dark leiges’ began with his (not so) little spiel, promising that he’d return to his true form– Which sounded more like a curse than anything else, had begun without a hitch. Then, nothingness. No ‘shadow-lord’. Just a black void that seemed to swallow her whole. She felt like she’d been standing there for hours, as time didn’t really seem to have an effect in this realm.

Soon enough, a voice startled her out of her daze. “It is complete.”
