Summary
Yoichi feels it again, the heat. His fingers curl into his pants to distract himself from how they are slightly tighter now, as the words tumble from Rin’s mouth so elegantly. It’s so warm in this restaurant, or maybe it’s his shirt, or maybe Rin is just too hot for him. All the time they spend apart has done this, has turned Yoichi into some horny monster that’s losing its head because Rin is talking. He’s just saying words, words Yoichi can’t even understand, but it’s getting him so worked up.
Or, Yoichi loves it a little too much when Rin speaks French.

Itoshi Rin found himself clicking away at his phone every night, unable to escape its grasp. It was supposed to be their two weeks off after their triumphant match against the Japan U20 team. Blue Lock had emerged victorious, and they finally earned the well-deserved rest they craved. But for Rin, it wasn't a period of relaxation; it was a return to the suffocating grip of loneliness.
Maybe getting everyone's socials was a mistake.

“Ohhhhhh, I see.” Isagi can’t mask his amusement, eyes twinkling with mirth. “What’s in it for me, then?”
“Isagi,” Rin says tersely, a warning in his tone.
“Quid pro quo,” Shidou replies, tucking his hands into his pockets. “Do me a favor and I’ll do you a favor. Cash it in whenever you like.”
“Hmmmmmm…” Shidou fights the urge to fidget as Isagi hums thoughtfully, seeming to evaluate his options. His head tilts in contemplation, nose scrunching, fingers holding his chin as he looks Shidou up and down. Then, he smiles, deceptively benign, as he comes to a decision. “Okay. Deal.”
“Isagi,” Rin protests again, sitting up straighter on the bed.
“The secret,” Isagi continues, completely ignoring Rin, his voice dropping into a dramatic, mock whisper as he leans in closer to Shidou, “...is casual intimacy.”

And when they’re safely tucked away inside Yoichi’s car, Rin can’t keep his hands off him— he holds Yoichi’s hand with one dry palm, intertwining their fingers. The other one permanently etches his fortune lines onto Yoichi’s thigh. He kisses the breath from Yoichi’s lungs, like he’s trying to memorize the inside of his mouth again since they’ve been apart for far too long. And Yoichi lets him because this is the missing piece, something he’s been longing for since the moment he stepped on that plane in Paris.
Rin in Germany. What a glorious sight to see.
Or, Rin makes the trip to see Yoichi.
