It's been two agonizing weeks, and no matter how much I try, I just can't bring myself to do it. Mr. Jumbo has repeatedly asked me to join him at one of his infamous 'parties'. His frustration has grown palpable, and now, instead of asking, he's forcing me to attend. I knew this day would come—his patience is not to be tested—but that doesn't make me any more inclined to go.
