Summary
Maybe it was his hair, he’d been letting it grow subconsciously. He looked at the long strands of hair and felt something like awe. Maybe it was his clothes, thinking about it made him feel weird, “his clothes”, for the first time he was wearing something that hadn’t been passed down to him through his older brother.

Summary
I was almost sure that Mom pulled strings to get this mission assigned to us. I mean, she wouldn't have to reach very far for it, just as far as telling Dad she thought he should put us together. It was the shinobi equivalent of locking me and Shika in a room together until we worked out our issues. They even assigned Ino to the same mission so that we had a mediator.

Summary
It shouldn't have taken time travel to remind Shikako that, objectively speaking, Kakashi was a horrible person. It was easy to forget because most of the time he aimed it at other people. If she was feeling charitable, she would even admit that this prank had been timed to go off long after she was dead.
Shikako wasn't feeling charitable.
