Summary
After the defeat of Gabriel Agreste and the disappearance of the mysterious peacock miraculous user, Marinette is left to try her best as Guardian and pick up the pieces. With the kwamis left in hibernation, no leads on the missing peacock miraculous, and no way to contact her beloved partner, she's left to her wit's end on where to proceed.
That is, until the prime suspect of the peacock wielder coincidentally takes up an apprenticeship at her parents' bakery. Adrien Agreste, son of Hawkmoth, has seemingly planted his roots in her home while Marinette was away for an apprenticeship. This could either be a disaster in the making, or the perfect opportunity to retrieve the missing miraculous... either way, it's war.
At least, it would be, if the gosh darn villain weren't so sweet!

Sam and Eileen would be going to the party together. Dean would have no one. And that meant he’d be relegated to at least three hours of his own father complaining about his eldest son being an immature fuckup who thinks making videos for YouTube counts as a job… on his own.
“Castiel!” he shouts to the living room. “Screw it, I changed my mind. Come back.”
Castiel is back in an instant, scruff and all. Dean vaguely thinks about the angel that had appeared to the virgin Mary, and wonders if that one had looked at all angelic, or if all angels were supposed to look like discount Nathan Fillion.
“This is a vessel designed specifically to appeal to you,” says Castiel, looking rather smug.
Dean resists the urge to flip him the bird.
(Dean needs backup for a holiday party. His prayers are answered by divine intervention.)

"Right," Dean says eventually, gruffly. He looks down at his shoes. "I'm not gonna tell you how to live your life, man. It's—you know, yours. Do your thing, love who you love, whatever. I can't really stop you from loving me, if that's what you've decided to do, but I don't—I can't—"
"I know," Castiel murmurs, still just smiling a little, not looking heartbroken at all. "Don't worry about it, Dean, that's all I ask."
"So we're—" Dean risks a glance up, swallowing thickly. "We're good?"
