    Got this idea from someone so I'm going to just reword it. Terrible at writing summaries, sorry.

    In a world where Vampires are fighting Werewolves who are both fighting Humans & Hunters. Newt's family attacks a group of vampires, and Newt is caught and sentenced to death, but Thomas bites his neck before they can. It leaves Newt stuck in a pack full of werewolves which he hates. He spends his time yelling at anyone who tries to get close to him until the mark on his neck makes it impossible to stay away from Thomas. No one will tell him anything important and he just wants to go home. What makes matters worse, the werewolves aren't the only ones he should be worrying about.

    “Not a chance, shuckface,” Newt shot back. He could feel Thomas’ breath on his neck and felt his cheeks heat up. “Why’d you drag me here, anyway? Seems a lot like a bloody dumb date.”

    After his father's death, Newt, the Prince of the Scorch, starts to sneak out of the palace at night as a peasant. Thomas finds himself intrigued with the stranger he sees only at night. But as trouble stirs within the castle, it's revealed that things are much more complicated than they originally thought.

    WCKD Academy is an elite private school that usually costs thousands to attend. The only exception to this is a special program that doesn't run every year. 13 high school seniors get to attend the school for free

    The catch: 12 of them are assassins. The last is their target. The person who manages to kill the target names their prize

    When Thomas arrives at WCKD to participate in this year's Class A, he decides that he doesn't want to see the target dead

    Which means that he'll have to take on the role of their bodyguard instead
