It had always been a struggle to keep Bokuto Koutarou focused and motivated, even now when he’s in a professional gym about to play for one of Japan’s most popular sports teams. The main thing keeping him hyped for the hours of sweaty volleyball sure to follow is the new set of eyes watching him tonight.

Losing people always hurts, even if it's a part of your lifestyle. Jason's death hurt Nico in ways he wasn't expecting and so he pulled away. Keeping to himself would keep others safe, but the same couldn't be said for himself. Will on the other hand was struggling too. It wasn't unfamiliar for him to lose someone either and he just wanted to help Nico and share each other's burdens. The weight can't be too much to bear if they were holding it together right?

Kuroo covered his mouth and chuckled. Kenma frowned at him.
Kuroo shook his head as he continued to giggle between words. "Sorry, I'm not laughing at you. I just can't believe you roundhouse kicked me out of nowhere!"
