“At approximately 11pm, Beverly Katz shot Hannibal Lecter three times.” Jack stood before Will with features of stone. “Arm, shoulder, chest. The first grazed him, but the second two hit home.”
The words crawled through the bars of Will’s cell, circling his feet before settling on the floor, glaring up at him with doleful red eyes. Beverly shot Hannibal. Three times.
“I assume this wasn’t an accident in the gun range,” Will prompted when it became apparent that Jack was waiting for something from him—he’d give him something, of course, once he’d found it. House fisted a hand in the front of his shirt, and let the other wander back up into his soft hair. When they broke apart the next time, a delightful string of spit connecting their lips, it was so that House could lean close to Wilson’s ear and whisper, “Fifty bucks says even if I start dropping hints the ducklings won’t be able to figure out that we’re married by the end of the year.”
“Hundred says they’ll get it by the end of the month,” Wilson replied, taking the subject change in stride.
House grinned, and kissed him again.

Summary
After Stede returns and him and Ed make up everything on the Revenge settles.
With the captains caught up with each other Izzy bonds with his crew, and finds acceptance and relationships that he has always wanted and he is able to move on from the feelings for Ed he was sure would never be returned, not now that Ed has found his love with Stede.
It takes a bit but eventually Ed and Stede notice the way their first mate has changed and they have feelings about it.
Izzy is happy. Izzy is flourishing. Izzy found someone(s).
It would be a terrible time for Ed and Stede to realize that maybe, just maybe, they have feelings for Izzy that go well beyond just a captain and first mate. Wouldn't it?
