Summary
Reaping Eve is a holiday in District 4, where no one enters the arena except by choice. The families of young children celebrate their safety; the Elites who will volunteer have been training for this moment all their lives. But on Reaping Eve of the 65th Hunger Games, there's an accident. On Reaping Day, there's a dare. Equal parts cocky and compassionate, fourteen-year-old Finnick volunteers against Mags' instructions. Somehow that's all it takes for the system to start breaking down, especially for the most prominent Elite family in Four: the Crestas. Watching from home as a newly minted celebrity demolishes the competition isn't what they'd planned on.
Or: It's all well and good to live in a Career district and know someone will always volunteer. But someone has to be the person who's been told from birth that his highest calling is to be a human sacrifice.

Trying to write a backstory to the two Morphlings in Catching Fire because I needed to know more about them when I reread the series.

She wants to believe in her own sentiments; that people can be good, that things can change. With the Snows' fortune restored, maybe she can hope to believe she can be a person worth knowing, loving, and able to free Panem from war and despair.
Alternatively, a commotion at the black market changes everything for Tigris, perhaps for once, for the better.

Summary
There was no ambulance in District 12, no number to call. There was just the endless walk back to town and the knock on a Peacekeeper’s door. Primrose was pale and weeping- too little and too confused for the harsh lines of District Twelve to understand what was going on.
