Summary
Hua Cheng’s eye crinkled. He brought his hands from behind his head and rolled to his side. Facing Xie Lian, he gently reached out with one hand, lightly tugging at the one Xie Lian had pressed to his mouth, slipping a finger beneath it. Hua Cheng requested, “Won’t you let me hear them now, too?”
Nodding, Xie Lian brought it down, letting Hua Cheng hear every rapid, whine-laced breath.
“Good,” Hua Cheng praised. “I’ll ask again. Do you know what I do next, gege?”
“I—” Xie Lian stopped. Good. Suddenly, every muscle in his body was taut. Panting through it, he shook his head. He moaned weakly, “No.”
Reflecting on the events at Qiandeng Temple, Xie Lian longs for such intimacy again and reveals that to Hua Cheng. While Hua Cheng would never dream of turning him down, he seduces the bashful Xie Lian into being explicit about what he desires.

When they broke apart, they were both panting. Xie Lian looked Hua Cheng deep in the eye, and let the words escape his mouth. "Ask me again."
Confusion was coloring Hua Cheng’s handsome face, and Xie Lian quickly clarified. "San Lang said he will not joke about it again. Ask me now.”
Hua Cheng’s single eye became wide. There was a moment of silence. Followed by a low chuckle. Then, Hua Cheng posed the question Xie Lian wanted to hear. "Gege, want to get married?"
Hualian reunite and rebuild Huangji Temple together, where they get married and eventually spend their wedding night—and the beginning of their eternal life—together.
A fic about what might have happened between the “reunion under the lanterns” and “Xie Lian finding out the meaning behind Hua Cheng's tattoo” scenes.

Summary
Feng Xin felt Ping’s eyes on him and suddenly felt embarrassed. Spiritual dogs were highly intelligent and intuitive creatures. Hopefully he’d managed to get across to Ping just how much he couldn’t stand Mu Qing.
“Uh, well…anyway…you’ll know it’s him because you’ll sense my blood pressure rising. Just the sight of that guy makes me want to set something on fire.”
Feng Xin looked at Ping. He could swear he saw his furry eyebrows rise a bit.
“So, you understand? You’ve got it? You know what you need to do?” Feng Xin asked.
“Ruff,” Ping replied in a firm, decisive tone. Yes. He knew.
