    Among the spit and blood on his face, Viktor drags a thumb over his lip, scooping up a fresh clot from his still-bleeding nose.

    He feeds it into Jayce’s mouth. Viktor’s thumb presses so far back on his tongue that Jayce gags around it, but Viktor doesn’t stop.

    AKA: Jayce is a vampire who really doesn’t want to inconvenience people with his hunger. Not only blood, but the essence of humans is what he feeds on. He plans to ignore his instincts, but Viktor doesn’t let him.
