It's an amazing opportunity, really, and there is nothing you love more than getting a chance to really work with such tech! He hadn’t imagined the black sun, the whole world really had gone dark in that moment. A solar eclipse. The nurses said he came back to life just as the moon slipped away and the sun returned.
That became his name: Black Sun.

No one had named him before then because no one had expected him to survive, not when grown men succumbed to this horrible place. They wouldn’t kill him, but that was all. The rest was up to him.
