Summary
Soap should be ecstatic to not have to work over Christmas for once. The MacTavishes are known for their Christmas cheer, and Soap loves visiting them. The only problem is his mother insisting he bring his girlfriend home for the holidays. The girlfriend he very much does not have. The girlfriend he does not want on account of him being gay.
When Ghost offers to pose as his fake boyfriend for Christmas, it should be the perfect solution. He can come out to his family and make it seem as if he was only lying about the girl part of the girlfriend he made up. Soap however, knows that pretending to fake date the man you are desperately in love with, who also happens to be your best friend and commanding officer, can only end in disaster. That doesn't mean he won't do it; he's not exactly known for his impulse control, after all.Or
After lying to his family about having a girlfriend, Soap bring Ghost home for Christmas as his fake boyfriend. Christmas themed shenanigans ensue.
