    In the aftermath of Yoshino Junpei's close brush with death at the hands of the patchface curse, Nanami takes him to Geto's temple for safety, until Gojo can return from his mission and decide what's to be done with the boy.

    He'd agreed under duress to be Itadori's mentor, but seems to be getting stuck with the waifs and strays the boy is picking up along the way as well, and decides it's only fair to share the burden with the (annoying) alphas in his life.

    Yoshino, meanwhile, sees a reflection of his own situation in Nanami's relationship with Gojo and Geto, and that, and Nanami's candid advice, shows him he might not be wrong to hope for a better future.
