Even though it’s only ten in the morning, the lines of exhaustion are draped heavily on Yoohyeon like a blanket, blinking slowly and eyelashes kissing the tops of her cheekbones so prettily that Minji couldn’t resist the urge to lean forward, kissing her right under her eye.
Yoohyeon stops mid-question, lips parted slightly as she exhales. Her breath smells like stale coffee she undoubtedly had during her early morning shift. Minji wrinkles her nose, smiling.
“Unnie,” it’s not a warning but Minji knows she caught the alpha off guard.
“Sorry,” she doesn’t know why she’s whispering but Yoohyeon leans forward to hear her better. Suddenly, Minji snorts, laughter bubbling up her throat until her body collapses forward, forehead nestled on a strong shoulder. “We’re both so sleep-deprived right now.”
A hum vibrates from Yoohyeon’s throat, resting her head against the top of Minji’s.
