Xichun’s hand wraps around Don’s waist, pulling her directly to the Hierarch. The book softly falls to the bed. The wide smile on the knight’s face was slightly interrupted by a blush and trembling lips. She only grows more flustered when a kiss is placed upon her lips. A soft giggle escapes Xichun’s mouth as her hands trace over Don’s cheeks.
A knock at the door.

“Nay!!! It is the first glorious day of the month of pride!” She says, waving her arms excitedly.
“Ah, yeah,” I say, leaning back against the pillow, “I guess it is.”
“Thou doth not seem most eager for this news, dear Xichun…” Don pouts, laying against my chest.
“Eh, it’s just never really been something I’ve celebrated. Not in the old Hongyuang of course. Too dangerous and all that crap, even around my parents.” I say, rubbing her head.
“Were thine parents not most supportive of thine endeavors?” Don gasps.
“Most parents are okay at best and horrific at worst when handling news from their kids.” Ryō says.
“Yeah, I pretty much got the latter reaction.” I say. -

“Ah! L-Lady Xichun, it is most fortuitous to find thou here at this very moment!” She stammers.
“Mhm, there’s absolutely no reason I’d be double checking on you.” I say.
“Well, thou hath mentioned most briefly that thou wisheth to spend a…brief moment together catching up-”
“Yes, and I’d rather do it sooner than later. So if you’re done here, I’d suggest we retire to my own private room.” I say, grabbing her tie and pulling her face right next to mine.
That gets a good shiver out of her.
“V-Verily.” She sputters out.
