  Summary

  Death felt like a final embrace.

  Rangi believed it would be the end—falling at Kyoshi’s side in a battle against an ancient spirit that ravaged the western coasts of the Earth Kingdom. She was wrong.

  Instead of passing on, her soul endured—cast forward a century beyond her own era, bound to the body of a boy in a world that had long since forgotten her Avatar.

  An unfamiliar time. An unfamiliar life.

  Now, forced into a silent existence within another, Rangi must adapt—becoming an unseen guide to a desperate orphaned firebender and his brother. Unorthodox as it may be, she refuses to waste the second chance the spirits have given her.

  Mako had potential, a prodigy in his own right and she would see that through her, this talent isn't squandered. Then maybe the spirits would be kind enough to reunite her with the person she loved most.
