After going out shopping for a new coat, Akutagawa and Atsushi wander through the streets hand in hand. A peculiar store selling cute dresses catches Akutagawa’s attention even though he’s too embarassed to admit the reason why.
They go in, and let’s just say Akutagawa ends up with a bunch of new cute clothes to add to his wardrobe.

This is too familiar, he should say something. Apologize for keeping him up late or at least say something but no words made their way out of his throat.
But Atsushi understands, he always does.
“Mission didn’t go well, I assume?” Atsushi says and Akutagawa can feel some sort of small towel, maybe a handkerchief wiping away the blood on his face and he doesn’t even hiss when the stinging when Atsushi cleans the few wounds up. “Always one to rush in first, be more careful in the future. I’m worried you know.”

Dazai convinces Atsushi into believing theres a Valentine’s day tradition between the mafia and armed detective agency which requires him to buy Akutagawa a gift.
So of course when Atsushi shows up with flowers to Akutagawa on valentine’s day who’s never heard of such a tradition, he misunderstands.
