Summary
She pulls away from him a bit. David gasps for air, trying to remember where he was, trying to remember his name, but it was so hard when all he could remember is her. Lucy’s flooded his senses again. He can only see her. He can only smell her scent and her smoke. He can only taste her lips and tongue while her soft moans serve as music to his ears. But worst of all, his hands were so full of her, grabbing and clutching at her body like she was his lifeline, when in reality, she’s going to be the death of him.
What a fucking nova way to die.

David had been somewhat worried he’d get completely blown off when he’d given Kiwi a call, but after briefly negotiating a 50/50 cut, she had actually agreed. On one condition. She just wanted one little extra thing in return, on top of the eddies:
After deep-diving for him, she was to be allowed to use him as a personal heating pad for the rest of the day. A condition that, to David’s surprise, had not simply been a joke. She’d gotten him the info he was looking for, climbed out of the bath, pulled out her plug, and then she’d only spent a short minute wiping herself off with a towel—all in plain view for him to see—before she dragged him over to the big couch in the middle of the hideout and practically wrapped herself around him. Without so much as a word said between them.
And now here he was; being cuddled by a nude woman because his back got really warm after using his Sandevistan.
Frankly… David had to admit there were worse ways to spend an evening.
