Midoriya meets Shigaraki on an online game. Despite his nasty personality Midoriya and him become friends over the course of a year, and with the newfound friendship they find themselves in, things take a turn for the worst.
Midoriya meets All Might, and while he doesn’t crush his dreams, he’s more discouraged than ever in becoming a hero.
Now he sees no hope for what to do in the future.
Shigaraki is there to help him solve his problem.

Mei is positive she’s sick. Like 101% positive.
Okay—maybe just 100.99%. She’s done the medical diagnostics: her throat is clear, no signs of a fever, and she doesn’t have a trace of nausea or congestion or anything.
And yet…something is disastrously off.
What else could explain her sweatier-than-usual hands? What about her stammering from faulty brain-to-mouth connections? Or her heart thump thump thumping as if testing a new speed setting? And it feels nothing like the adrenaline coursing through her veins whenever she witnesses one of her babies exploding!
What’s weirdest of all? Mei only experiences these symptoms whenever she’s near Himiko.

Shigaraki Tomura wanted to kick Fate in the nuts. Why him? First there's the dreams, which, weird. Then he has to learn from Dabi of all people that the location of the soul mark matters and that theirs is romantic! What the Fuck? So what if he enjoyed talking to him? He was the Symbol of Fear, he could do whatever he wanted! It wasn't as if he liked the guy or anything... he just sort of grew on you... like a fungus.

A world where everything Izuku knew and believed in has been torn to shreds. The Commission is corrupt, and no one knows how to be a hero anymore.Having turned to vigilantism, Izuku is no stranger to toeing the line between being a hero and a villain. But when he's brought face to face with Shigaraki again after everything that happened, the tedious balancing act Izuku is playing might just come crashing down around him.

I plan to rewrite this eventually. As of right now, updates are paused. I haven't updated this in almost a year, unfortunately. This story is still dear to me, but my writing has improved drastically since writing this, so I plan to rewrite and post it separately whenever I get around to working on this again!
