Summary
Taking a look behind him to follow the path of the blade he had just avoided, he realized that it was attached to an extensive black handle that returned towards the same shadows that remained after the passage of the candle he carried in his hands.
Smiling at finally having a clue to find his opponent, the hedgehog turned around without stopping, heading towards the same place where he had been attacked.
-Someone wants to play rough, huh? Let's see if you think the same when I find you!
And just as he had expected, the same silver blade came out of the shadows, trying to make a cut, without success, while he limited himself to dodging the attacks or jumping over them. And as his steps advanced, he soon noticed that the handle of the blade seemed to be getting less and less extensive, which could only mean that his enemy was foolish enough to have stood still to attack him.

Summary
It was supposed to be the usual day for Shadow the Hedgehog. Visit the shooting range, practice for a few hours and go back to the flat he shared with Rouge and Omega. That's how it was, that's how it usually went.
Not this time.
He never accounted for meeting a certain two-tailed fox in a place definitely not designed for children. He never accounted for somehow ending up teaching the fox how to shoot properly.
He didn't want to get involved. He couldn't get involved. Not with how much the fox reminded him of Maria. Not with what he knew.

Summary

News reveals that Hawk Moth was brutally slain by his own champion and captain of his own elite guard - the infamous knight Chat Blanc, known to wield pure destruction itself.
