Rhaenyra began to notice it well before everyone else.
It made sense, really. They were tied now, mates in every conceivable meaning of that word. Rhaenyra could feel when Alicent was upset, Rhaenyra could feel when Alicent was overjoyed, Rhaenyra could feel when Alicent was bored senseless by their twit fathers. Of course she could sense a sudden shift in her wife, before the real symptoms even began to fester within her. Worried purple eyes tracked an unbothered green figure across the room, narrowing and searching for any sign that her suspicions were correct. It took a while for her to be proven right, but wasn’t she always?

“We could just stand.” Rather unattractively, Alicent crossed her arms over herself. Rhaenyra could not help but feel a strange mixture between self-disappointment and absolute joy when she found the display didn’t dampen her arousal at all.
“You haven’t enjoyed mating whilst standing-up since we were six-and-twenty,” Rhaenyra retorted, “And you haven’t been able to mate me whilst standing since we were thirty.”
“I absolutely can mate you standing, it’s just not as pleasant as laying down, is it?” That, Rhaenyra did agreed with. Being moved like a sack of potatoes whilst Alicent awkwardly tried to match the movement with her hips was not at all her idea of pleasant, although gripping Alicent’s biceps as she did it certainly helped some.
OR; Alicent Hightower and her inability to escape being in closets.
